First NHL Game
"The location is somewhat hard to reach by train (LIRR) as it's somewhat located outside of the city, you have to take a taxi. It's easy to get there, but getting back was way harder as there were no taxis around and no real taxi line to find. But finally, we did it! ;-)
As I live in Switzerland, where ice hockey is one of the most beloved games alongside soccer, I was surprised by how little the fans were doing for their team. In Switzerland, the fans are always singing and shouting for their favorite team, creating a fantastic atmosphere for the players to excel. It was new for me to experience the minimal singing and shouting during the game, just a bit of noise when there was a hit or goal.
Not a big fan of the power breaks, even if there are some lovely girls on the ice :) But, hey, the hockey was excellent to watch, so it's still cool! And Streit scored a goal, so everything was fine!
